Ferrosilicon briquette is produced from ferrosilicon offcut and ferrosilicon powder.
Ferrosilicon is necessary for the production of steel,leftover pieces of ferrosilicon is not suitable to put into ladle or furnace for molten steel treating due to it’s small powder size and burning loss in furnace.
Ferrosilicon briquette,it is to screen and process the ferrosilicon powder again and press it into a spherical shape the size of an egg,so that it is not easy to have burn loss when it is melted in the furnace,so as to achieve the desired oxygen removal effect.It has the advantage of low price and same good effect as usding ferrosilicon lump.
BrightAlloys process ferrosilicon for many years and have a large number of cheaper ferrosilicon powder and offcut to process ferrosilicon briquette,it saves 1/3 of cost by using ferrosilicon briquette replacing ferrosilicon 70 lump.
